Executive Team

Barry Toser, CEO

Barry Toser has over 25 years of experience in the telecom industry, with an outstanding track record in executive and leadership positions. His experience encompasses domestic and international sales, marketing, service, and operational excellence. Toser has had extensive P&L success for both large and small organizations, where he has built revenues, captured market share and increased profitability. Formerly, the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development for Mobilians International, Toser was responsible for sales, business development, partnerships and strategy. His efforts were instrumental in having Mobilians named by IDC as one of its “Ten Emerging Mobile Players to Watch in 2008”. From 2001 - 2007, Toser was the Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Telecom Services Division (TSD) of Transaction Network Services (TNS). Under his direction, TSD became TNS' fastest growing business unit, and more than doubled revenues. Some of the customers who contributed to this gain were: AT&T /Cingular, Comcast, Level 3, MCI/Verizon, Sprint, Time Warner Telecom, and XO Communications. In addition, Toser spearheaded new product development efforts and guided the successful launch of eight new products, several of which had annualized growth rates in excess of 100%. He also identified a target company and participated in the due diligence effort for the strategic acquisition of a VoIP peering firm that propelled TNS to an industry-leading position in the sector. Prior to joining TNS, Toser spent six years on the international side of the telecom business. At GlobalNet International, he was Executive Vice President and a Board of Directors member and executed the company's sales and business plan strategy in conjunction with a public offering and subsequent private placement. While at Destia/Viatel, Toser established a wholesale carrier division as he brought into the company a team of five sales and support reps, and he implemented a dynamic sales program that increased revenues from $1 million/month to over $100M annualized in less than one year. During his stint at AlphaNet Telecom, Toser designed the business plan and strategy for a telecommunications provider that operated the world's largest international "carrier class" IP telephony system at that time. And, during his tenure at Teleglobe, he hired a U.S. sales and support staff of 25 individuals and built out revenue from under $10M to $125M. Before joining Teleglobe, Toser directed sales, marketing, and customer retention activities for Cable and Wireless, from 1987 through 1995. His success in decreasing Cable & Wireless' cancellation rate by 40% with a net contribution of $35M was featured in the best-selling book, "The Discipline of Market Leaders". Prior to Cable & Wireless, Toser worked for Sprint for six years. He was Sprint's youngest District Manager in 1983 and eventually became the Regional Sales and Marketing Manager for a $400 million region with 200 representatives. Barry's contact base is as strong as anyone's in the industry through his years of experience and via the TelecomHUB networking organization, the nation’s largest telecom group of its kind, that he co-founded in 1999.
